Priscila Chaves Martínez has worked at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship and impact for over 15 years, collaborating with multinationals and startups in North & Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia.
As a founder and mentor, she uses exponential technologies to solve grand challenges in education, environment, social mobility and immigration. She is the Director of 10X Impact, an innovation agency building the bridge between technology and the ecosystems that help people, communities and organizations thrive in an exponential future.
Priscila has over a decade of experience in Corporate Tech, leading operations and business development for IBM in Latin America and Asia-Pacific. She later collaborated in the launch of tech startups in South-East Asia and East Africa, and more recently, as a business leader for Latin America's largest AI firm, Cognitiva, where she led product development and go-to-market strategies for cognitive solutions, democratizing access in the region to emerging technologies.
She is a passionate advocate for the ethical use of technological and scientific breakthroughs for the betterment of humankind, and speaks frequently on the risks that lie ahead in societies where ethics progress at a different pace. She is an alumni and member of the Global Leadership team from Singularity University in Silicon Valley, Latin American ambassador for "Women in AI". Graduated from SingularityU's Global Solutions Program in NASA Research Center, and the School of Business from the University of Costa Rica.
